Welbeck Named in England Squad

Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck has received his second call-up to the England squad for the Three Lions' international friendly against Netherlands on Wednesday.
Welbeck, 20, made his international debut in England's 1-1 draw with Ghana earlier this year but was not selected for June's Euro 2012 qualifying clash with Switzerland because of his involvement in the Under-21 European Championship.
The United frontman impressed while on loan at Sunderland last season and is expected to be more involved in Sir Alex Ferguson's first team in the 2011-12 campaign.
Nevertheless, it is a surprise Welbeck should be in a four-man strikeforce, but not Jermain Defoe or Darren Bent, who both featured in weekend friendlies for Tottenham and Aston Villa respectively.
Andy Carroll also returns to Fabio Capello's squad after not featuring against the Swiss, while Scott Parker and Robert Green - both about to kick-off their seasons in the Championship with West Ham are included.
Capello was forced into a last-minute reshuffle due to the hamstring injury that forced Glen Johnson to hobble out of Liverpool's 2-0 win over Valencia this afternoon after only seven minutes.
Phil Jagielka has filled the right-back role on the last two occasions Johnson has been missing. On this occasion though, Capello has taken the step of including both Kyle Walker - now back at Tottenham after a successful loan spell at Aston Villa - and Micah Richards.
A regular under Steve McClaren, the Manchester City full-back only won his first cap under Capello last November and a fortnight ago he said he might have to wait for the Italian to move on before he can resume his international career.
