"We gave him more vacation for the Japanese football in the summer," Moyes said in a press conference. "We try to give all the players four weeks of vacation if you can. He has not had enough time so we'll give you another week, even though he will do more training with the club here so he can have time at home in Japan . "

Defender Jonny Evans is also set to miss the match against Kitchee, with Moyes explained: "Jonny has a bit of bone bruising in the foot and just feel it's not really a lot of good. We do not want to take any chances with it."

Summer signing Wilfried Zaha scored a late equalizer against Cerezo and Moyes delighted with the contribution of new immigrants.

He told MUTV: "Wilfried has done well. He's done well in the game. He was quite calm and still getting to know everyone. I think he performed well., To give effect in the game. We just want to try and bring him with just as well.

"I think tonight will help him. He showed that players can make things happen. At Manchester United we want all players to score goals and he came up with an important goal in the last minute."

Moyes worried about the situation in Hong Kong pitch after heavy rain affected surface. Tottenham defender Jan Vertonghen injured during the Barclays Asia Trophy match against Sunderland at the same stadium and Moyes hopes the players will escape unscathed.

"I have concerns about the surface," he said. "It is due to the weather.'s An act of God. We can not do anything about it, but we will go to Hong Kong and hope the situation improves and the field is in better condition than it has been recently. "
