Premier League leaders Manchester United ensure home 2-1 victory over Liverpool on Sunday after Robin van Persie and Patrice Evra be superior than Luis Suarez.
The victory allowed United to widen their advantage so far last night to 10 points ahead of Manchester City.
Van Persie grabbing United's opening goal in the 19th minute after receiving Evra and the Frenchman's header deflected in by teammate Nemanja Vidic to make it 2-0 in the 54th minute.
Substitute Daniel Sturridge narrow a goal for Liverpool in the 57th minute and the visitors increased the pressure but United managed to hold to ensure all three points.
Van Persie leads the United topped the 19th minute when he slotted in Evra cross pass from a distance of eight yards.
