Ferguson Hit the Cymbal United can Gain Champion


Alex Ferguson was aiming to take home the FA Cup for the 11th time for Manchester United at the end of this season.

United is one of the highest team won the trophy in the tournament's history, but the last time they managed to embrace the FA Cup was in 2004.

This means that only Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Darren Fletcher in the starting line feeling Grace United managed to win the trophy this time.

Most encouraging, Giggs scored United's opening goal when they are easily overcome Fulham 4-1 in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday.

"I believe the players United will continue the momentum of this victory to reach the final.

"I hope to get a chance this year. Some of them (the players) played superbly today," said Ferguson.

He added, this is one of their best performances this season after down the best player in the match.

Giggs converted a penalty in the second minute of the match for the first goal United's Wayne Rooney goal followed before Javier Hernandez added two more goals for United comfortably ahead 4-0.

However, Aaron Hughes managed to 'steal' a goal for Fulham.

"FA Cup is very meaningful. Last time we won it nine years ago. Lot of players have not experienced embraced this trophy.

"We hope this year it has become a reality," said Giggs.

Hernandez and Rooney's spectacular performances were exhilarating Ferguson.

He described the quartet Rooney, Hernandez, Danny Welbeck and Robin van Persie certainly feared as coupling winning three trophies in 1999 - Andy Cole, Dwight Yorke, Ole Gunnar Solskjær and Teddy Sheringham.
