'Bale Still not Comparable Giggs'

Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson believes his career journey mercurial winger Tottenham Hotspur (Spurs), Gareth Bale is still too far away to be compared to Ryan Giggs.

Ferguson was speaking ahead of the action against the Spurs in the Premier League at White Hart Lane tonight.

Bale, 23, who hails from Wales, just like Giggs, 39, has demonstrated excellent performance with nine goals this season implode including solo network while helping Spurs beat United 3-2 at Old Trafford in September.

However, Ferguson described United's veteran star performances as old as Bale excellence by helping the Red Devils winning three Premier League titles, the FA Cup (two) and the League Cup.

"It just feels better to just," said Ferguson.

"The player (Bale) is a good player but no one can match Giggs when he was 23 years old."

In another development, Ferguson refused to comment on the penalty spot virus often horrific United.

On Thursday, Wayne Rooney missed a penalty kick against West Ham in the FA Cup third round at Old Trafford.

League top scorer Robin van Persie is expected to be in the starting line-up against Spurs United.

Ferguson also said not to give an opportunity for Rooney to take a penalty.

"I have not made any decision on it," said Ferguson.

"What is certain, we do not want to fail in a penalty shootout. It is a golden opportunity to win a match.

"However, it is not one thing I want to talk about."
